A convincing win by the U13Bs who played as a dynamic team from start to finish. The work ethic of every player was exemplary and there was plenty to celebrate: from the neat overlapping of Harry Woodward & Harry Williams on the right wing to the positional play of Joe Filippetto and Ed Morgan. Oli Gilbart-Smith was a work horse in midfield ensuring the attackers were given plenty of the ball and he scored two unstoppable goals. Panache in the finishing from hat-trick man William Webb who will be looking to do the same again in the next match and excellent positional play from Charlie Craig and Joe Filippetto (fed by a beautiful cross by Alex Palmer) who tucked away their goals like pros. Alex Palmer had a sensational second half and came close to scoring what felt like a dozen times. He will be itching to get on the scoreboard in the next match. The back four were expertly flowing forward and back when needed and were stalwarts throughout the game and to end this enthralling match Filippetto hit the crossbar with a cracker of a strike.
